Christopher Ariagno | 12 comments So I'm back to talking about the book Spacer and Rat and after reading more and more of this book, I just hate it more and more. This book is one of the slowest books I have ever read in my entire life. Not only does this book have an awful plot, it's really short. In my opinion, even the Diary of a Wimpy kid book series has a better plot and storyline than this awful book. But I'm going to be talking about the rest of what has happened in the book since my last post.

Well first off, remember how this one chick was going to pay the main character Jack, a lot of money to go find this one robot that had a lot of secrets on it? Well the guy actually met up with the owner of the bot, and she was pleading for him to not sell the bot when they found it. He agreed, and started his search to find the robot. They actually found the robot stuck inside of a cathedral, inside a pool of holy water. They rescued the bot from the pond, and the robot fixed its antennas so it could communicate with the outside world. They then go back to the bar where Jack works so he could fix the earthie up some food after the long search for the robot. While he was making the food, the woman who was paying him the money for robot came in and demanded to see the robot. Apparently the robot was finding data on people and the signal wasn't protected, so anybody could see it, including the bad guy. So Jack was like "We don't got a robot here, I'm still finding it, I though the leads I gave you would have found the robot". (101)But then she yelled "No my goons went there and there was nothing there"(102). The earthie then made a distraction by sending all the cleaning robots on emergency cleaning mode, so that means they started flying around everywhere trying to find a mess to clean, so Jack ran when he saw that opportunity (104).

From reading this week, I concluded that the book is just really bad, like awfuly bad. It's really sad that it has to take over 120 pages just to have a little lick of action. Other books that I have read like Article 5 and the Michael Vey series all have action packed into it from page 1 all the way to the last page in the book. But this book, it doesn't cut it, it's Jack getting a new job for the first 60 pages, and trying to find the robot for 60 pages, with little to no action through most of those pages.

Alex Motsinger | 12 comments I think next time, in the future, you should avoid picking the shortest book possible. It was a bad idea and you suck. That being said, this plot sounds very exciting, and I'm excited to see what you have for us next!

the earthie chink is the one chick who is trying to save the bot because it was her dads. The one lady is the bad guy who is trying to buy the bot and exploit it for all of it's secrets
