Sean Gibson | 7 comments Hello!

For some reason, the link to the Amazon page for The Camelot Shadow isn't working (it should be here: https://www.amazon.com/Camelot-Shadow...)

How do I fix that?

Thanks!

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments It works fine if you use the kindle editions

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Your link is for the ebook edition which is not for sale on Amazon

Links are edition specific and only work to if the bookseller stocks the edition with the ISBN

In addition, the buy links are user specific not author or book

Sean Gibson | 7 comments Thanks, Paula! It's strange--the page for the book that I get a link to from my author dashboard is this one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

On that page, the Amazon link doesn't work...any idea why that might be? Or why there are two different pages?

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments There are two editions a kindle edition and a ebook edition.

https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

They are currently listed based on number of shelvings by Readers the ebook having the most shelvings

You can set the default edition by selecting the kindle edition, editing it and selecting the link to set as default

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments As Paula explained: You have two editions of your book. One is an ebook with an ISBN: Amazon does not sell ebooks with ISBN's, so clicking the link on that page does not work. Choosing another store that does sell that edition would work though.

The other is a Kindle edition, with an ASIN. Clicking the Amazon link on that edition works because it's the one that Amazon sells. Clicking a Barnes and Noble link on that page won't work, because B&N do not sell Kindle editions, or use ASIN's.

You can see both editions here: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

Sean Gibson | 7 comments Thanks, all--much appreciated! I didn't realize there was a separate edition of the Amazon ebook.
