Okay i will go for Commonwealth this is on my TBR waiting for library to get copy to me
The Night Circus this is a real experience of a book that draws you in from page 1
Empire of Ivory I enjoyed this series overall some books were not as good as others and they do need to be read in order, so if you haven't read the earlier ones save this for later
Thank you. I will go for Empire of Ivory as that is the one that is currently available at the library.

Sorry, Marina, was asleep when 48 hours past :)
I've chosen the Greeks for you:
Alcestis
Timon of Athens
The Symposium
I've just finished 4 plays by Euripides yesterday which included Alcestis. I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it. Hence, the Greek prompt though one of them isn't really Greek lit but close enough ;p

Thanks, Tien! I saw your review for the book of collected Euripides' plays, I'm glad to know you liked them! I think I will just follow your advice and go for Alcestis.

Thanks, Marie. They all sound great. [b:August] would work for Christmas in July, but the others would be nice relaxing reading, which I also need right now after two hefty books.

for me it was on e of the first reserved from the library and when it came all the pages had red deckle edging the front cover was black and silver embossed and it had a ribbon bookmark - the look of that book was a s good as the book itself
Bea wrote: "Hi, Marie! Would you please pick 3 books from my shelf? https://www.goodreads.com/review/list..."1. I will start with Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail - we do long distance walking and have even managed to get lost on a coastal path (don't ask) so the title speaks to me
2. The Mysterious Benedict Society I am not a lover of YA but this sounds fascinating - if you read it let me know what you think
3. The Lady and the Unicorn this is the only choice that i have read and i loved the style and storytelling
