carol. | 551 comments I'm re-reading. More precisely, I'm listening through for the first time, which does wonders for my comprehension (no skimming allowed). I noticed right away that Guhleed referenced "like the BMW thing?" when asking Peter what was going on. It's clear that Aaronovitch is committed to the graphic novels being part of the series and not just 'filler' type of material.

Caro the Helmet Lady (caro_helmet_lady) | 46 comments Seems to me this way too.

Fred | 14 comments There's even a mention of Macsim in passing nearbthe end. A few shout outs to the GN - nothing that was essential to understanding the story, but definitely showing the importance of them.

carol. | 551 comments 'Macsim' ? Google is non-specific, besides a language group and a computer program. 'GN?' Please explain, as I want to understand :)

Miriam | 113 comments So, finally I'm at it. I tried to put it of because it's the last in the series so far but I couldn't wait any longer.
I already love it if alone for the fact that Tyburn has a more prominent role.

carol. | 551 comments Tyburn is so interesting in this book! Prior, she had always been set up as a bit of an antagonist.

That's true. But I always kind of liked it how she antagonized Peter but still ultimatly was "on his side". I really laughed when she told Peter why she rescued him in WuG.

Speeking of which: It was nice to see how Peter is affected by all the things that had happend to him without dwelling to much on it. It feels balanced just right.

Bardbooks | 24 comments Started this adventure yesterday and ordered the next book, which will arrive in two days.

I'm convinced that I need to read the graphic novels for maximum impact, but they are rather expensive ... and I've always been pretty good at digging up bargains online. Suggestions?

Is there a handy dandy list somewhere that sorts every publication in optimal reading order?

Bardbooks | 24 comments Ben's site shows covers, which is interesting, but I couldn't discern a reading chronology.
Found this, elsewhere online:

Hyperlinks in this article ^^^ lead to the short stories! (so far, at least ... I'm still investigating).

And HUZZAH! This blogspot site ^^^ includes Ben's own "in order" list.

Lata | 371 comments Sorry, Bardbooks, I had meant to point you to the temporarilysignificant site -- was in the middle of too many things when I posted earlier,

Book Depository has the graphic novels. Also, keep an eye on Forbidden Planet. They often have sales.

Thank you! I'll sail on over for a peek or two :-)
