I am Pritam from Kalimpong - a surprisingly warm town near the Himalayan foothills, in India. The only word that best describes my reading is "indiscriminate". Found your group to be just what I'm looking for as I plan to read at least 72 books in 2018 and would love to yak about them with the group.

Hi everyone. My name is Petula. I read all types of books. I go through either author or genre stages occasionally, only books by certain authors or genres. Right now I am into Christine Feehan. I love her Carpathian series. I have had to update my reading goal recently as I have surpassed it and there are still 6 weeks left in the year, lol. I don't get to read as much as I would like since I am now working again full time after being out of work for over a year. But I squeeze in every minute that I can.

Hi, my name is Emre. I am from Ankara, Turkey. I generally try to read 30 books every year which is not that much. By joining a group I hope to increase this number. I wish you all good readings!

Hey guys! My name is Natalie, I'm from BC, Canada. I'm new to goodreads, but I'm enjoying it so far.I love to read pretty much all fiction genres - except westerns and romance. I love good solid stories with interesting, complex, characters. And I love a good psychological thriller!
I found this group just browsing around. I was interested in joining to meet likeminded people who love reading!
This year I've read 28 books; next year I'd like to read at least 35. Might be a bit of a stretch though - we'll see. In my defence, I have a 2 year old, so life can be pretty hectic sometimes ;)
Some of my favourite authors are:
- Liane Moriarty
- Amy Tan
- Kate Morton
- Audrey Niffenegger
- Diane Setterfield
- Gillian Flynn
- Stephen King
- Karin Slaughter
If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Hello everybody!! My name is Sandra and I hail from South Pasadena, California. I am newly back on the reading wagon and glad to have found your group! I am open to all genres though I generally gravitate toward historical fiction. I have begun to explore science fiction/fantasy and I also enjoy regency romance novels and recently read my first Memoir. I have never done a book challenge but I am very excited to try it out in 2018. I want to set reasonable goals so I do not become discouraged: 20 books of which three should be in Spanish.
