Hello everyone. I am Khushi. I am new here. I love reading books and they are my life. I like reading classics, fiction, science fiction, fantasy, young adult and mystery. Any really good written book is appreciated too. I hope I can find new friends here and hope you guys can recommend some good books too, even though I have so many books I still have to read.

Will try and do 150 books in 2017.

You're in great company here then Catherine! We all love books here! You're welcome to join in on any group read or challenge. I found it made my reading even more enjoyable and I got to know tons of other people enthusiastic about reading. As you I didn't know many avid readers before this group.

I love to read pretty much all fiction genres - except westerns and romance. I love good solid stories with interesting, complex, characters. And I love a good psychological thriller!
I found this group just browsing around. I was interested in joining to meet likeminded people who love reading!
This year I've read 28 books; next year I'd like to read at least 35. Might be a bit of a stretch though - we'll see. In my defence, I have a 2 year old, so life can be pretty hectic sometimes ;)
Some of my favourite authors are:
- Liane Moriarty
- Amy Tan
- Kate Morton
- Audrey Niffenegger
- Diane Setterfield
- Gillian Flynn
- Stephen King
- Karin Slaughter
If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

I've been a reader since a kid, but now i want to "get in a next level" and read more classics, philosophys, YAs, thrillers and everything that can be interessing, so i think this group may help and encourage me to read new things.

Hello! I'm Jenny from Broadstone Dorset England. My first genres are fantasy, crime and historical mysteries. I found the group via Litsy and the Dewey challenge, which I might do next year. My goal this year was 85 and I have completed it (currently at 109 books).

My name is Lisa, I am from Ukraine, I do not stick to one genre but I prefer reading mysteries, thrillers and sci-fi books! Also, I love reading Russian classics and some non-fiction popular science books.
I have already surpassed this year's goal of reading 30 books and hope to read more by the end of the year!
Best of luck in your challenges! :)

I am Mythrayee. I am from India. I used to read a lot. But now with a 3 year old at home, my book reading has slowed down. I love reading mysteries, thrillers and love stories.

As you both like to read mysteries, you'll probably enjoy our group read for December: Murder on the Orient Express.
Don't hesitate to join :)
