I hope you enjoy the group. Good luck with your reading goals!

Welcome Alex! Hope you'll enjoy the group and other (buddy?) reads. Which ones will you be joining?

I'm Angela, from NorCal
I don't really have a specific genre I like, but a lot of graphic novels and scify.
I found the group through a search for challenge groups
My goal was 10 but then i past that It's now 20, but I'm up to 19 already so I might have to bump it up again.

Welcome and best of luck reaching your goals :)
I hope you'll enjoy the group. And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Happy reading!

I plan on getting better though. I put down 10 books by fall.... I know! it's a joke to most of you. but let's see if I can make it...
pleased to meet you all
xoxo

10 books is a great goal! I myself started the year out with a goal of 12 books :)
Keep in mind, reading is such a personal thing. Everyone has different amounts of time they are able to dedicate to their reading and we all read at different speeds.
The amount of books isn't that important. What really matters is that you're having fun reading! :)

I started my goodreads challenge this year (80), partially due to my collection of bargain bought books just being out of control, so I figured I should read what I've bought and if I like it but can part with it, I'll donate it so someone else can get the chance to enjoy it the way I did! I would love to sit down and actually review what I've read at some point so if you guys have any pointers that would be awesome.
When it comes to reading I don't think I have a particular genre that I'm just hardcore about. I've only recently really read any series(I went from one total to three/four this year!), I'm a sucker for a pretty cover (sorry) and mostly it's just a process of the first page or two grabbing my attention. I'll give just about anything a shot.
Sorry I'm late to the party , but I'll see y'all around (;

I'm the worst at doing reviews so unfortunately I'm no help in that department. But I recommend having a look around at other people's personal challenges. Many members do amazing reviews and have fantastic organizational skills on their threads you can draw inspiration from :)
Good luck with your reading goal!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a reading goal of 12 books! We read what our life schedule allows us to. Nobody here is passing judgement :)
Best of luck!

I love all types of books such as fantasy, historical fiction, literary fiction, some contemporary and some non-fiction memoirs and things like that. Really the only genre I don't like is romance. I am picky with my contemporary because a lot of those novels seem to focus on romance.
I am from the USA and my reading goal is 150 books. I had originally set it for 52 but I completed that earlier in the year (possibly in April) so I recently upped my goal. But, I am not super intent on finishing it. I more or less set it to see if I can get there by the end of the year but if I can't it won't be a big deal.

I hope you enjoy the group :) Good luck and happy reading!

I hope you enjoy your Kindle Paperwhite as much as I do, and get through a bunch of great books :)
Happy reading and good luck with your goal!

I adore Goodreads and the sense of community I get from it. I love interacting with fellow readers; it helps me meet my challenges and keeps me from falling into those non-reading lulls I can be prone to when nothing strikes my interest. I have found many interesting groups, including this one, through the community tab on Goodreads.
My reading challenge this year is 50 books (it started much lower, and when I breezed past that I decided to set a new goal to meet.) Look forward to interacting with all of you!

Sounds like you're off to a great start with your reading challenge.
There are plenty of fun challenges and other fantastic group activities that will certainly help you achieve your goal :)
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!
Best of luck and happy reading!

That's amazing! I'm sure that if you keep it up, you'll definitely hit the 100-mark :)
Welcome to the group and good luck with your reading goal!

The kind of books I like to read are graphic novels, children's books, fantasy, horror and romance! I actually found this group through one of my Goodreads' friends profiles and I was pretty interested in joining this group since I love doing challenges!
For 2017, I hope to read 80 books, even though I tried to read 100 books a year for the previous years, but I'll try to reach 80 this year!

You've definitely found the right place for challenges. Have a look around and feel free to join any of the ones that suit your fancy :)
Good luck with your reading challenge!

My name is Racheal. Now that my life is slowing down a bit, I can get back into reading. I started out with a goal of reading 17 books this year, but I have already completed that goal and moved it to 35 books before the year is up.
I don't think I have a specific genre I read; it just depends on what I am in the mood for. I've read things from historical, biographies, romance, crime, psychological thriller, mystery, chick flick, self-help, religion, and young adult (to name a few).
I found this group while I was surfing through GoodReads. Just looking for a group to connect with that has the same passion for reading as I do.

You've definitely found the right place for challenges. Have a look around and feel free to join any of the ones that suit your fancy :)
Good luck with your reading challenge!"
Thanks!

I'm Himani and I'm from New Delhi, India. I love reading urban fantasy, Paranormal romance and about anything that's impossible to happen in real life.
I read alot and lately it's been hard to find something really good, thought joining this group could help open my eyes to new things.
i hope everyone is enjoying their day.
Happy reading!

Good luck with your reading goals and happy reading!

Hi Rafia! Undoubtedly there are Goodreaders from Pakistan in this group. You could check out the thread Where in the World part 2...?. Good luck!

I hope you do better at including non-fiction into your reading, than me had so far :D
Best of luck with your challenge! :)

So you'll be doing what this summer, you say? ;D Sounds like a great plan and an admirable goal!
Welcome to the group and good luck with your challenge :)
