Okay, I want to say that it's the second book in a series but I can't be sure. Pretty sure though it was released in the last year or so. 90% sure I've only read the blurb so I don't have too much to go on, but I feel it's obvious but my flu addled brain isn't working!!

The heroine, a drug addict, is looking for her next fix and she turns up at like the mob bosses house either to rob it or get more drugs. I think the mob boss (hero) is shocked to see the results of his drug dealings and doesn't have her killed but rather takes her in and helps her... I think!!
