I don't know if anyone has addressed this, but do we just count pages of entire books? I started two books at the end of December but finished them on January 1 and 2. I have it broken down by how many pages I read in 2017 vs 2016. Can I count those read in 2017? Or do I just count those pages of entire books started in 2017? Does that make sense?

I was thinking the same....I had one book that I only read a (short) chapter of in 2016, and plan on picking it up again tonight. I was going to subtract that chapter when I add it to the total.
