Blogger tips and tricks

Hiya!
So I'm new to blogging, and have 0 subscribers at the moment, so I'm looking for fellow bloggers to interact with each other and share our tips and tricks to "success".

I'll start with some of my tips and tricks,

1. Identify your type of blog, is it reviewing, is it updates about your new book etc

2. Identify your tone: Are you going for a formal or informal approach? Remember, if you're an author, potential buyers will see your site, so keep it in mind when you draft out your blog

3. Use social media: Facebook friends, Twitter, Goodreads etc. are good profile to set
up in order to create more buzz on your website
For example, I can post a link MANY times on goodreads to get more buzz :P

4. Don't be scared! If you're considering it, go for it. Ensure that it's what you want to do.
