Which author, Skye? We read Mary Boleyn: The Mistress of Kings by Alison Weir in 2014 (the thread is still open), but there are several other biographies of her, I think.
Can I please nominate my new novel, Falling Pomegranate Seeds: The Duty of Daughters? It tells the story of Katherine of Aragon's childhood and early youth through the eyes of her tutor, Beatriz Galindo.
I will pitch in my novel
into the mix. In case anyone is interested, it is on sale Dec 5-12 (not trying to be a commercial plug, but to save people money, on the chance it is voted in)
The Reluctant Ambassador: The Life and Times of Sir Thomas Chaloner, a Tudor Diplomat
John Dudley: The Life of Lady Jane Grey's Father-in-Law
I think I will nominate two: Sovereign, by C.J. Sansom, and How To Be a Tudor: A Dawn-to-Dusk Guide to Tudor Life, by Ruth Goodman.I'll close nominations and start a poll later today - so if anyone has a last-minute nomination, now is a good time to make it.
I will nominate Elizabeth's Women: Friends, Rivals, and Foes Who Shaped the Virgin Queen by Tracy Borman.
The poll is now open - you'll find it on the home page of the group, or through this link: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1... .
At this point it looks like the winner is going to be Ruth Goodman's How To Be a Tudor: A Dawn-to-Dusk Guide to Tudor Life.
How to be a Tudor did indeed win, and we'll be discussing it here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
