Stargirl | 4 comments A Place for Sinners

A Place for Sinners by Aaron Dries. Perhaps the ultimate beach read. As in, you'll never want to go to the beach again!!!

Think of it this way: it's like Alex Garland's The Beach meets Jack Ketchum by the way of Richard Laymon. And yet its unlike any of them. Set in Thailand, full of incredibly real characters ... and gee, it's intense as hell. Beautifuly written too.

Psychological horror sounds good. LOL--I'll second Tressa's THE BEACH, as I haven't read it yet, nor seen the movie based upon it."

Didn't win, but immerse yourself in this odd story. Maciek, who has excellent taste, recommended it and I'm so happy he did.
