Have you?

I'd be totally keen to read the whole series though, I'd have to get them from my library too.

I've read this book before, so I know some things :p I'll keep to myself though. Glad I've gotten to this book :)

So now through chapter 5, and (view spoiler) Now that we know so many secrets are going on, I wonder what's REALLY going on with the grandma!

I'm almost at the end of Chapter 2. Can't wait to read your spoilers! I might get there today, I might not. I'll just see lol. Boyfriend's over for a few days, and not sure when he's going home. Tuesday when I go to work, I think :p I'll try and get it finished on Thursday. I'm really liking it though.

Yeah the witch was really freaky. But I don't like how we didn't really see much of Seth's inner fear, more about his actions towards it.

5 stars! And definitely anticipating the next book in the series. Don't know that I'll be able to wait for a buddy read for it ;)

Dammit not many updates to go on :/ That's kinda why I stopped XD Coz I like the updates to motivate me, I use them at checkpoints. And now I only have a final one lol.

Read after the thing with the chicken --> (view spoiler)
Read after the kids visit Muriel --> (view spoiler)
Read after they visit the next creature --> (view spoiler)

They've just visited Muriel, and grandma's just come back. I'll read the next spoiler after my next sprint.

Lol! I definitely started to get more into it around Midsummers Eve, but here with the creature it started feeling reminiscent of a Rick Riordan book :) I definitely didn't find it boring though! ;)
I'll make the next thread and post the link back here!

I loved the world building, the magical creatures, and imagination that went into this book. The occassional picture was really cool as well, helped the story come to life. I like all of the different dimensions to the fairies, their spite, their revenge, their vanity, but their overall loyalty when it came to (view spoiler) I suppose that too was only because of the Fairy Queen, but I liked that.
The whole knot thing was really cool too, the fact that (view spoiler) There were actually heaps of awesome things in this book, especially Hugo and Mendigo and all of the other creatures.
