Just discovered this group when my Goodread friend Margaret post came up in my GR feed.
So I thought great, got cool people to talk with about these great books.

Thank you -- hoping to find a few fans here who are willing to revisit the series.

I re-read the series on a regular basis. I've read "Lies Sleeping" 3 times since I got it in November. :)

Same here, carol.. I was hoping to squeeze Hanging Tree in this month.

The latest book is going to be released this month... I'm very excited for it.

...obviously i'll do both...more than once. already restarted the audiobooks series. it's really important to make sure the new earbuds work not because i'm addicted to the series at all

lol! Not that that's a bad thing. :D"
Agreed! He's one of my favourite narrators.

I had heard about the possible tv series. Aaronovitch and Pegg&Frost were writing, but who knows if any distributor will bite? I hope so, and I also worry, since tv necessitates changes to material.

I can imagine getting so engrossed in these books that you would forget the time! The stories are so good.

I almost exclusively listen because I like the narrator so much.

And the Rivers series is addictive, isn’t it? I love the audio versions, thank to the incomparable Kobna Holbrook-Smith.

I'm currently reading The Strings of Murder which I think fellow RoL fans will also like! It's set in Edinburgh during the Victorian era, with two policemen investigating what we would know as 'weird bollocks'. It's more occult than magic, but if anyone is looking for something to read it may be worth checking out :)
