Amy So after finishing The Bookshop on the Corner and The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George (both of which I highly recommend), I have now gotten onto a kick of looking for books that are similar in nature. Specifically, I want to find books about people who love and respect books and who are passionate about encouraging reading. Any age range is acceptable, but I prefer little-to-no romance. Any suggestions from you wonderful literary geniuses? :)

martin eden Hi Amy! I read the Readers of Broken Wheel by Katarina Bivald. I loved it! and I've just discovered The Novel Cure by Ella Berthoud and Susan Elderkin. But it's not a fiction. I 'm going to buy it.

Megan Beauchamp A few books similar to the ones you have already read are The Secret of Lost Things by Sheridan Hay , The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin , and The Shadow of the Wind (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #1) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón . Enjoy!

Kay Weston The Little Shop of Happy Ever After by Jenny Colgan is such a good read!! The Little Shop of Happy Ever After

Jennifer Darci Trying "The Reader on the 6.27" today.

Deedee I liked ink by Elizabeth Hunter. A love story ... A bookstore/tattoo parlor!! The bookshop on the corner by Jenny Colgan was also good!

Teri Pre I can recommend two: The Uncommon Reader which is one of the funniest books about reading I've read, and Parnassus on Wheels. They're books that rarely recommended but well worth the read.

Celine Godfrey A word of warning to prospective buyers. The Bookshop On The Corner and The Little Shop of Happy Ever After by Jenny Colgan ... are both the SAME book as I discovered after I bought both!

Apparently the title was changed between UK and US publications. So don't buy both!

Georgia A book about the love of reading books (not necessary bookstores) that I loved is The Telling (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) by Jo Baker. It os described as a Ghost Story but I didn't think it was. For the longest time I thought it was called The Reading Room...

Judy Two of my favorite books about books are:

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.

Both books are the first in a series by their respective authors.

Inkheart is technically a Young Adult book, but don't let that stop you. It is a wonderful read and will keep you enthralled.
