Elizabeth | 2 comments I vote for, "Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. This is Harry Potter for Grown-ups! Actually, scratch that. This is Harry Potter with an almost Nabakovian attention to prose style rarely seen in fantasy. Written with and easy intelligence and an emotional maturity that will leave you begging for more.

Brilliant. I love her characters she has created and especially this fantasy world. I highly recommend anyone to read it if you love reading fantasy.

The book I suggested is the first one in a huge series. They are actually split into different "series." But overall they should be read in this order (if you are thinking about giving her a try):

*The Farseer trilogy
*Liveship Traders trilogy
*The Tawny Man trilogy
*The Rain Wilds chronicles
*The Fitz And The Fool trilogy (the first one in this trilogy is released August 2014)

All together the series is called
The Realm Of The Elderlings

I hope this all made sense lol.
