Christine I thought this would be a fascinating topic, since there are so many Good Readers who love to discuss Shakespeare. What are your thoughts? Did country boy Will Shakspere of Stratford really write all these genius plays, or do you think it may have been someone else?

Bjarne Amilon I vote for Shakespeare, Will, from Stratford. But come with other candidates. It would not be amiss if you mention the sources for them, if you know.

Barbara Wilson NOOOOOO! Shaksper could not of written all those plays! I started with Who Wrote and I am now on my 10th (or so) book on the topic. The most recent are: Shakespeare's The Lost Kingdom (Beauclerk) AKA Shakespeare: A Scientific Approach (Sturrock) and Mark Anderson's Shakespeare by Another Name. If you love the Elizabethan period the readings about the mystery are very enlightening. Think DeVere!

Christine Thanks for the info, Barbara. I do love the Elizabethan period and look forward to those readings.

So you think DeVere? In your opinion, what would be the strongest evidence for him?
