Jeffery shows up on these arson scenes pretty quickly. Was he on your suspect list early on? Was that reveal ever suspenseful? Did you also think he might have also been Gloria Dobson's murderer?

[Robin]

I knew he was either the arsonist or knew who the arsonist was. It wasn't suspenseful at all to me. For a while I thought the arsonist and murderer were the same person, but I gave up on that in the middle of the book.

[Lauren]

There was never a question in my mind that Jeffrey was either the arsonist or he was being tipped off by the arsonist. The question for me was whether he was also the killer, but I had ruled that out by the end.

[Jonetta]

I thought the same thing about Jeffrey being the arsonist or being tipped off by him. When it became clear that Cornell was alive, I decided then that the killer was someone else.

[Lauren]

Same for me. The killer wouldn't have let him live. Jeffrey's motive was ratings not killing.
