Celebrating two years of agonizing over the way to ease our heroine out of disillusionment with current events on Earth. At last we're feeling we've done our best work, and AN ALIEN'S QUEST is a treasure for anyone seeking Meaning in broad terms. Even it's Bibliography is a must-read after 45 years working on the Archives project.
As usual, the genre naming is a problem. Though romance is definitely a large part of the book's story, the 'alien' character is a human on a nearby planet, characters fun and there for bouncing off real current issues about the long-term fate of Earth.
