A fellow nerd has a book he cannot find. Please help.
The book has many characters out of which AJ, Tucker and Jamie are 3. Cannot remember the names of other characters.
It is the first book of the author who is a female.
It has either won or been shortlisted for some award which again he doesn't remember.
The plot starts with a woman being forcibly kissed by a stranger in absence of her husband. She wishes to confess it and the priest in the church tells her to go tell her husband. After this starts the entire story about three generations. She has two daughters, my friend recollects. Out of them, one gets pregnant illegitimately and the mother pretends as if she is pregnant to cover her daughter and lives in a convent. :\
