I came across this quote and I must admit I don't feel so guilty for checking the hardcover books out of the library when they come out but then waiting to buy them cheaper in paperback or used.

I love this quote as well. Brandon Sanderson , last night during the release launch of ,Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection, was talking about philosophy and the purpose of his books. And he said it really comes down to reading them. That is part of the reason that when people come to visit his home he gives his extra books away. He wants them to be read and enjoyed. I think Neil Gaiman has the correct idea. I have never felt guilty over utilizing the library or buying my books as paperback because regardless, I am reading!
