Brian Kavanagh writes the Belinda Lawrence cozy mystery series. I read the first couple and loved them. I'm going to read one of his for the challenge.

Read:
- One from culinary (anything dealing with food: restaurants, baked goods, etc.) Kneaded to Death
- One from animal related (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)
Death by Chocolate Lab
- One career-based cozy mystery (housekeeping, wedding planner, etc.) Purr M for Murder
- One from paranormal (witches, vampires, etc.) Pit Perfect
- One from British cozy mysteries (example: Belinda Lawrence series) Single Malt Murder
- One travel mystery (character could be on a cruise, touring another area, etc.) Asking for Truffle
- One holiday based (set during any holiday - Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines, etc.) Death Overdue
- One is your choice! (freebie!) Dial Meow for Murder
- One historical mystery (any mystery not set in the present) Murder on the Orient Express
- One from craft related (any kind of hobbies - knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, etc.) While My Pretty One Knits

One from animal related (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)

This book was SO MUCH FUN. It could also fill in as the career-based mystery, so I may move it later. We'll see!

I really liked this one, though I thought the mystery was too much like a soap opera.

Marking this one as career-based for now, since she's the new PR person for her sister's animal shelter - but this may change.

I've noticed that sometimes cozies feel like that.

Lily is a werecougar, but that's a really minor part of the story. I'd hoped for more of it, though I enjoyed the book!

Putting this one here, I suppose - it's set in Scotland, but I'm guessing that doesn't count as British :)
This one was interesting - I really liked Abi, because she's actually got some sense and makes reasonable guesses. And the author has a really good vocabulary, so I even learned new words!

(Personally, I would consider it British. Scotland is part of Great Britain, so not English, but British.)"
I had a similar thought - I may move it, but we'll see!
