Casey | 49 comments Love the new setup! I've never read a British cozy, so that'll be something new for me!

Casey | 49 comments I'm definitely going to stalk everyone's posts for ideas on that one.

Brian Kavanagh writes the Belinda Lawrence cozy mystery series. I read the first couple and loved them. I'm going to read one of his for the challenge.

Betty (bettylouise54) | 41 comments It seems to me I have read a number of British Cozies. These are on the edge, but I feel Cozies Catherine Lloyd has a Saturday in England may be historical DEATH COMES TO THE VILLAGE and Marty Wingate might be another THE GARDEN PLOT

Casey | 49 comments First one done!

One from animal related (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)
Death by Chocolate Lab (Lucky Paws Petsitting Mystery #1) by Bethany Blake

This book was SO MUCH FUN. It could also fill in as the career-based mystery, so I may move it later. We'll see!

Kneaded to Death (A Bread Shop Mystery #1) by Winnie Archer

I really liked this one, though I thought the mystery was too much like a soap opera.

Casey | 49 comments Purr M for Murder (A Cat Rescue Mystery #1) by T.C. LoTempio

Marking this one as career-based for now, since she's the new PR person for her sister's animal shelter - but this may change.

I've noticed that sometimes cozies feel like that.

Casey | 49 comments One from paranormal (witches, vampires, etc.) Pit Perfect (Barkside of the Moon #1) by Renee George

Lily is a werecougar, but that's a really minor part of the story. I'd hoped for more of it, though I enjoyed the book!

Casey | 49 comments One is your choice! (freebie!) Single Malt Murder (Whisky Business Mystery #1) by Melinda Mullet

Putting this one here, I suppose - it's set in Scotland, but I'm guessing that doesn't count as British :)

This one was interesting - I really liked Abi, because she's actually got some sense and makes reasonable guesses. And the author has a really good vocabulary, so I even learned new words!

(Personally, I would consider it British. Scotland is part of Great Britain, so not English, but British.)"

I had a similar thought - I may move it, but we'll see!

Casey | 49 comments Oy, I've been way behind on updating! I've managed to get three more - still need the craft/hobby one, so I'll dig through and see if I have something I can knock out before the month ends!

Death Overdue (A Haunted Library Mystery, #1) by Allison Brook

One is your choice! (freebie!)
Dial Meow for Murder (Lucky Paws Petsitting Mystery #2) by Bethany Blake

One historical mystery (any mystery not set in the present)
Murder on the Orient Express (Hercule Poirot, #10) by Agatha Christie
