Chelsea (ceinheuser) So I noticed everyone in our group has read this book.

What were your thoughts after you put the book down?

My thoughts: Wow, what a sad and beautiful story. The Author has a gifted sense of capturing a young person self and being more aware of their life. Because, generally healthy people don't pay much attention to their body or feel like a ticking clock. Example, Hazel Grace saw her body as a grenade. I love the words, sense of humor, and the yes the love story that took place.

Jennifer | 4 comments My thoughts were:
How dare you John Green....
But I absolutely love this book and gets better each time I read it.

Karli | 2 comments I'm not a huge fan of teen-type novels, probably because I've spent the past 4 years reading works by the greatest writers to have ever existed, but I liked this novel because the story is relatable.

There's a quote I really liked, but I can't find it online. I'll have to find it sometime and post it.

Beth | 1 comments wow...I'm late to this but, I liked the style of the writing the best I think. I have to admit that the story line didn't necessarily surprise me (which doesn't mean I didn't still find it sad and emotionally gut wrenching!), but the way the book was written was what hooked me!
