I honestly have never gophered for a book title using avocado. Who knew???We may need a salad bowl or vegetable soup challenge to flush out all the "food" titles one day. Like a three ingredients recipe.
Did you like the book?
Cherie wrote: "I honestly have never gophered for a book title using avocado. Who knew???...Did you like the book? ..."I did like the book, however it is not really one to be read from front to back in one sitting. It's like reading an encyclopedia. Everything is interesting, information over-load. How much will I really retain.
This one I will remember!:
"AVOCADO ~ The word originated in the Aztec language Nahuatl, where it is called ahuacatl, meaning testicle because of it shape."

Oh, I love wilted spinach salad! AmyK could tell you a story about the time I made it for her and her sisters. You would be rolling on the floor! They were sure that I was trying to poison them.
Don't pity me too much. While I have no idea what most of those are, I have many delicious salads in my life :D
It does sound like an interesting challenge idea. I write that as my stomach growls. Timing! Or coincidence?
Your avocado book sounds like the toothpaste book I read and I can never scrub the definition out of my mind now. Gah!
Cherie wrote: "Your avocado book sounds like the toothpaste book I read and I can never scrub the definition out of my mind now. Gah!"Okay....Do I want to know? You're such a tease!☺
Sorry, I was not trying to be a tease. My book for the "what do you use every day" guestion was Why There's Antifreeze in Your Toothpaste: The Chemistry of Household Ingredients because my answer was "toothpaste". Pretty much a science book, like your definitions. I got something out of it, but most was bla, bla, bla.You will have to look at my 2017 challenge to see my write up.

No worries! I am good at yelling affirmative things. Some people bought a house the other day near us, and were getting the obligatory real estate photo in front of the SOLD sign. I was driving past, and decided to woop and cheer and beep and flash and thumbs up out the window. I think from their faces they had decided they had bought into crazyville. I retold this to Lexx, and he responded with, "yes, a grats would have done."
