Do you actually make a small percentage of money for each book that you have uploaded per month without selling it? If so, does anyone know how much?

No, I don't think so. You get a percentage when you sell a book and/or when pages of your books are read on Kindle Unlimited.
Oh okay. I read that unless the KU person reads the full book you don't get any money. Is that true?
No. You can't be paid money you didn't earn.

If the book is in KU, the author is paid approx half a cent per page read. The amount paid per page varies month to month, depending on how much is in the total pool.
