Do you actually make a small percentage of money for each book that you have uploaded? If so, does anyone know how much? I looked everywhere online, but I can't think of how to word this any better

If you're enrolled in KDP select, yes. I get $5 a month for my first book I think. Just about. But you don't make an actual profit unless you sell them.
