I thought it had to be either Lord Seaton or that Weston guy. The diary of Emma's mother seemed to narrow it down to those two for me.
At first I thought it was Seaton and then I began to suspect the vicar, Underwood. For some reason, Weston was a long shot for me. I just couldn't see her giving him the time of day or him having the personality to commit rape.
The vicar was highest on my suspect list. Seaton was a more distant second. However, in hindsight, the letter is clear that Emily was not taken with Seaton while she did seem to like the vicar. Consequently, it is more likely that Seaton would need to force her.
