I am reading the nonfiction book "Empty Mansions" by Bill Dedham . It is about a 104 yr old woman who for 60yrs paid for the upkeep of several mansions but she never once visited them. Mr Dedham stumbles on this story and decides to write the story of multi millionaire WA Clark, whose daughter is the 104 yr old woman we meet in present day.

'Round Midnight, while divided into 4 parts, does form one story altogether. There is a time jump between each POV switch, for those looking at this prompt, and at least one character is present from about 20-21-ish until advanced old age, which I feel is close enough for the advanced list prompt of covering a character's lifespan. :)
