David Wong is the pseudonym of Jason Pargin. He writes for Cracked, and produced the memorable (and hilarious. and disturbing) absurd horror/sci-fi(?) story John Dies at the End. I'm reading his new one, Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits for this prompt.

Gail Carriger is apparently a pseudonym too, in case she's on you're TBR (I might do one of her novellas, but I haven't decided yet).
One of my favorite authors is Sophie Kinsella, author of the Shopaholic series. She also writes as Madeleine Wickham. I will definitely be reading one of those.
Kristen wrote: "Stephen King used to publish some books as Richard Bachman."I've chosen Rage by him for this challenge!
Iceberg SlimSomeone I admire greatly wrote her dissertation on pimp-authored literature. I gag, but now is as good a time as any to get this out of the way.
For anyone doing it with kids, you could use an RL Stein book. He wrote several joke books as Jovial Bob Stein, and it doesn't specify you have to read a book that they're writing under a pseudonym just that they do. Therefore the Harry Potter books would also apply since she writes under Robert Galbraith as well.
I'm reading Career of Evil right now but I'll read it for the disability thing. So I for this prompt I'm going for Elena Ferrante's Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay.
I am on the fourth and final book, The Story of the Lost Child from Elena Ferrante. If you are considering reading these - do! You will not regret it.
So...maybe I'm late to this party, but I just figured out that Jennifer Ashley (romance,Ashley Gardner (the Captain Lacey Regency Mysteries), and Allyson James (Stormwalker series) are all the same person. Several of her books are available free on Amazon kindle.

I just finished My Brilliant Friend. It was amazing! Glad to hear the rest of the series is just as good.
Julie wrote: "I had no idea Sophie Kinsella was a pseudonym. I have Wedding Night on my Kindle, unread. I shall pencil that in! I'm not crazy about the Shopaholic series, but liked [book:The Undo..."I had no idea as well! I also didn't know Anne Rice was, even though I've read most of her books.
Just finished The Accidental Life of Greg Millar by Aimee Alexander - a great read that was different from my usual genre
I'm reading The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August. Wonderful story! https://www.amazon.com/First-Fifteen-...
I'm reading Feed. I originally planned to read this last year for my 600 page book, but switched it out relatively last minute. I decided I still wanted to give it a chance, so this seemed like a good place to fit it in.
I'll be reading Blaze
for this prompt. I own a paperback edition of this book, which I got from my library's never-ending sale for $0.50 too many years ago. It's been waiting to be read since then.
I'm reading The Cuckoo's Calling for this and i'm really struggling to get into it! Kind of wish I had pushed aside my Harry Potter love for this prompt
Somehow didn't realize Cassandra Clare is actually a pseudonym! I just finished reading the second book in the Mortal Instruments series for this task.
Dani wrote: "any of the Brontë novels would work for this I think. I think I'm doing Agnes Grey or maybe The Cuckoo's Calling because Rowling is life "Good idea! I've been meaning to read The Silkworm for some time now.
Shelly wrote: "So...maybe I'm late to this party, but I just figured out that Jennifer Ashley (romance,Ashley Gardner (the Captain Lacey Regency Mysteries), and [author:Allyson James..."I love Ashley Gardner's Captain Lacey Regency Mysteries! Thanks for the great idea!
Rebecca wrote: "Shelly wrote: "So...maybe I'm late to this party, but I just figured out that Jennifer Ashley (romance,Ashley Gardner (the Captain Lacey Regency Mysteries), and [autho..."I have read three of these this month. I also used one of these books for another challenge where I needed a book published outside the 4 major publishing houses. Bonus!
I read When All The Girls Have Gone by Jayne Ann Krentz for this one. It's her new romantic suspense minus the paranormal elements of her arcane series.
Krentz also writes historical romances under the name of Amanda Quick
I read "the girl before". That book actually fits a number of prompts. Two time periods, going to be a movie. Bestsellers from a genre I don't normally read.
For anyone who is a fan of the "Shopaholic" series - Sophie Kinsella also writes as Madeleine Wickham. Or maybe I have that backwards. LOL!
For this one I read My (Not So) Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella who also writes under the name Madeleine Wickham. It was a fun read, although it had one major plot flaw that kept me from loving the book.
I, like many others, will finally embark on the Cormoran Strike train. I will be reading The Cuckoo's Calling.

I may re-read Interview with the Vampire for this category. It's one of my favorite books but I haven't read it since I was a teenager. Anne Rice is a pen name, and she has also written as Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure. Others I'm considering:
Amanda Quick (real name Jayne Ann Krentz)
Cassandra Clare (real name Judith Rumelt)
Pablo Neruda (real name Ricardo Eliecer Neftalí Reyes Basoalto)
I'm planning to read The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith for this category. Her second book, The Price of Salt, was originally written under the name Claire Morgan.
I read Lewis Carroll for this but I also read Legend and discovered that it's his pen name. I highly recommend Legend - I'm not normally a high fantasy reader but I loved this.
Summer Lee pen name for Verna Hargrove's Christian speculative fiction (historical or biblical)Thomas Locke - Christian fantasy or speculative fiction on the verge of SF - he's better know under T. Davis Bunn or Davis Bunn
Hannah Alexander is an pen name for the husband-and-wife writing team of Mel and Cheryl Hodde
When I remember the other three names I discovered this year I'll add those later as well
