hello, new to the group and thought I'd join since I can't seem to remember this book series I read awhile back. I read book #2 about 2-3 years ago and # before that, it is based off witches in the UK and live out in the open with humanity. The book has two protagonists, one male and one female both in their teens( sorry can't remember eithers' name). The male is a son off a inquisitor ( I think that is what their called) people who hunt witches who do wrong and judge them an such, has a older stepsister who starts to fear him cause he turns out to be a witch later. The female is a daughter of a famous twin witch duo, her mother possibly dead or alive. Her aunt now is like her mentor, her father is lazy but not no drunk or druggie or anything like that. She is related to a sort witch mafia (cousins, a aunt, and a uncle) I think who want her to marry one of their sons to make a powerful bloodline. The witches in book series have devil's marks when pierced can't feel anything. Both end joining the inquisition( Still don't know what its called) and turn out like agents for them. Can't name the author either, but there is a academy that they join up in around book #2 with one male russian witch, one female witch from bollywood, and a few more witches. I remember the female witch has a temper of sorts. That is pretty much all I remember right now, please help when can, and Thank you.
