Claire I think it is, because having open-mindedness is the only thing that destroys destructive ideas that are spreading-by convincing people to see reason. I think you should always consider what people are seeing and try to see from their perspective-but still make your own choices based on your own reasoning and beliefs. Having an open mind is one thing, but ignorantly accepting things is another.

Rachel | 4 comments I agree with Clair. It's important to be open to new ideas instead of holding your beliefs to such a high level that you don't learn or discover anything. But again, you can't be swayed by every argument you hear. It is important to listen, but to also think for yourself.
