That is a question for support as librarians have no involvement with creating Goodreads author pages.support @ goodreads (dot) com
What happened to the Goodreads Author circle icon? Is it a new policy that this no longer appears? Now you have to scroll halfway down the page to see if the author is a Goodreads Author or not.
I still see the icon in the top right-hand corner of the author page, where it always was. On which page do you not see it?
It's missing for me from all author pages. I have been told many times you are not supposed to link to an author, though. It will get you banned from the group.
In the merge thread people link to GR author profiles all the time: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...If you can't see the GR icons in any of them, you'll have to contact Support, because then there is clearly something wrong.

It's not linking to author's per se that is the problem, it's when people link to anyone (Author or Reader) who they are criticising.
I just checked a GR author page & I can see the circle icon, though its not as prominent as it used to be.Lobstergirl, what type of device are you using?
