You shouldn't worry. It wasn't expensive at all.
To get on UK though, you have to enroll the book in UK

KU borrows do not show up as verified purchases. Only bought ones do, but the author will get a certain amount of money for pages read.
I am not sure if KU shows it as a verified purchase. I have one that I have read and reviewed on KU, and it doesn't show verified purchase like the one I purchased (and received the match book kindle file). I like KU as well, I think it is a good idea since someone can earn a little royalty while their book is being reviewed. If someone already has a KU subscription, might as well pick it up, plus the KENP are tracked in KDP which is cool too. Personally, If I can't afford to purchase the book, my second choice is KU, both help the author get a little change in their pocket. Of course it isn't required, but I think it is a good gesture. The only thing about KU is it doesn't seem to show verified purchase on my other review, that is a good question. I am just excited to get some reviews for my work! Thanks guys!

T.S. If you want to finish the reviews earlier, considering that my second volume is not published yet, you can review the essay collection (as Emma suggested). However, that book includes three essays and only one is mine. Of course, the other two are more interesting - that's why they were on first and second place. Mine was the third. It's not a big deal.
But it would be great to get a review on that book - not just for my essay - the total of pages : 22

I am not sure how to get it in it KU....my other book Nostalgia from a city set upon a hill just showed up as KU, maybe amazon did that...I am not sure how to do so for TJ's last summer in cape cod, so what i did a while ago was to put the price at 0.99 for TJ's last summer in cape cod. Hope that works
