I might not get 3 weeks but I have 11 days off at the end of the month, and I'm going to read all I can. Til my dad comes and I have to entertain his wife, lmao! ;)
The funniest thing about them visiting is I sit and talk and watch movies with Nell and my dad sits with us....and reads. LOL!!! He raids my shelves and reads the whole time they are at my house. :) I get my reading gene from both sides!

@Lisazj1 -- I think my mom would have a coronary if she raided my bookshelves... I did get my love of reading from her, but not my taste in books. That I came about quite independently.

I have four other bookcases that keep him busy, and I always have a handful that I point him in the direction of, LOL. I love him but my dad is old and conservative, pretty sure he might have a coronary as well!

That would be nice! Like Lisazj1, I get 11 days off at the end of the year, and will probably spend most of it reading.

I'm a tiny bit jealous of you for getting 11 days off, lol! In addition to the public holidays, I have only 2 days off, the 27th and the 28th. Please think of me when you are at home reading all these awesome books ;)

That's same as mine. They shut us down but with the holidays, we only have to take 3 vacation days, though we're off on the 23rd too.
I'm sure not complaining though.

Dang you, people!!!! I have far too many books on my TBR already...and more than enough on my "Already Own, Not Yet Read" shelf!!! I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE AWESOME SOUNDING BOOKS!!!!! I won't read all the ones I have in my lifetime as it is, much less when I keep adding new ones!
