A question about Goodreads book reviews

Is it possible to leave a comment on a book's page here on Goodreads while still reading it, or do I have to mark it as read, give rating, and then comment?

I'm wanting to leave a comment while I'm still reading a book, but I'm not able to.

Please help!!

when you add a book to your to be read list or when your reading it you can have it set to currently reading you can add comments then. once you have it set on either currently reading go to the books page then below the books detail you will see a box that says

MY REVIEW Mar 08, 2016

Edit Shelves

then click edit review and you can add your comments.
