This updated cover image will be the one the book is launched with on November 19th 2016. It replaces the one currently held on the GoodReads database. Can you please therefore update it with this one? Amazon will have the exact same image. Thank you https://www.goodreads.com/photo/work/...

John, did any copies go out with the old cover? This would include Advance Reader Copies, whether print or electronic, if they included the cover.And ... these items need attention:
➜ I removed the photo from the additional photo section of the book page, as that is explicitly not for covers. You can link to Amazon or an acceptable website, or you can add the image temporarily to the photo section of your profile.
➜ The edition marked as paperback has a truncated ISBN13 in the ISBN 10 position. If you need help fixing that, please post the valid ISBNs here and we can make the corrections for you.
➜ The other edition listing is incomplete. It needs the format, the ISBN/ASIN, and the publisher information. Again, you can post the information here if you need assistance with this.

No copies have gone out with the old cover, but the old cover is not relevant as the concept for the title changed and evolved, so the cover has to be updated to reflect these changes. Please ensure it uses the updated cover, otherwise the Goodreads profile will look incorrect compared to elsewhere. I can fix the isbn issue and the other listing. Please just ensure the new cover is updated on both paperback and ebook formats, thank you.
The old cover is relevant in that Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as readers want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Therefore, had readers received ARCs/review copies with the old cover, we would have handled the old-cover-to-new-cover conversion much differently. Specifically, we would convert the current edition to an ARC edition and create a new edition reflecting the published cover. Because the old cover has not been distributed in any form, I have deleted the cover images from both listings, based on your request to update both:

Is the incomplete edition an ebook format? If you'll post the information here, a librarian can fix the listing so that it is complete.
I see that you replaced the truncated ISBN13 with the ISBN10. Please double-check that number, as the system returned an error message that the number might not be valid. I wasn't able to locate the book under that ISBN or title to pull a cover image. If you need help adding the new cover image, please post a link to the image here.
We want to help you make sure your listings are correct in time for the launch date. An important caveat: if the listings do not have valid ISBN/ASIN identifiers, Amazon's import bot will create new editions that do have the complete information. You will then need to have a librarian merge (delete) the incomplete/duplicate listings. That causes reader confusion and additional work for both you as the author and the volunteer librarians who are here to help you. :-)

Any ARCs will go out with the newest / final cover. No copies were distributed with the old cover, I can confirm that.
