I have just reviewed one of J.B.'s books and feel it would it would do us both harm if she were now review one of mine. I put this question to Sara.This was her reply:
"The review pools (they vary depending on book length) offers you a chance to meet other authors who are looking for reviews so it's not a straight swap. Because of the size of the pools it does sometimes mean if you want to get your book back into the pool that you might need occasionally to review someone's book who may have reviewed yours. Although you are perfectly welcome to refuse to let someone review your book on those terms, I haven't found this a problem providing I leave a suitable amount of time in between reviews.

Amazon does not like reciprocal reviews and is likely to delete them. Let's avoid reciprocal reviews whenever possible.

Err, I've just reviewed one of your books. Keep in mind that this might result in this being considered a reciprocal review, and both reviews getting deleted.

I've accidentally done reciprocal reviews in the past, and have not had issues with it, but others have reported reviews being deleted because of this.

At this point, I'm willing to risk this, just to see what the deletion criteria by Amazon really are. So I've marked you as reading my book. However, if you don't want to take the risk, we can cancel this review. Let me know.
