Im from the netherlands and its boring as fck nobody from my age is really into reading so the people I meet who likes it are from the internet.. I wish there were more people here who read ya but its not that popular here unfortunate ;(. Good luck with your article, if you want more information you can always send me a message :)

I'm from America and finding people who read may be hard if your not looking in the right places but I have many friends who are readers a.k.a. book nerds
I'm from America in TN and I see a lot of people besides myself read and they all hang out at cafes and libraries. There's even a website online of an underground subway in NYC that has people reading books on the subway that is pretty cool. http://undergroundnewyorkpubliclibrar...

I live in Massachusetts, and there's a decent amount of people who read in my school. They read a lot of YA mainly, but there's also an overwhelming amount of people who say "I don't read" or "reading is stupid" etc.

I'm from Venezuela and sadly most people here dont read and think is a waste of time and others say they have read only Fifty shades just because a lot of people is obsessed with it.

Originally, I'm from Russia, and there we have summer program. It's like to-read list of books we discuss in class later. I'd say only about 20% read a lot, because they enjoy it. Sad(Anyway, now I'm in Washington, and we have reading time in school.
I'm from Alabama and while I went to a school where you had to read 3 books a month for grades, not many people my age (early 20's) are into reading. People look at my kindle like I am wasting my time not having an iPad. However, my mother is active in a wonderful book group that gets together every month and they seem to have a lot of fun.
Next to nothing really.I mean we have a library 20 to 30 minutes away.
and the local school, I honestly don't think ANY students use it unless they HAVE to (which is rare)
No one I know likes to read as much as me... so when I go into fangirl mode... I'm alone. Even of I offer the book, they won't read it.
Though, my niece loves to read. Almost as much as me. I nearly punched her teacher in the face because of it to. sounds stupid, I know but seriously. My niece got a book from the library and read it in one day. When she asked her teacher if she could go to the library to check out another book, her teacher got nasty and said "No one can read a book in one day!"

I'm from Jacksonville and I don't think we really have on or I just don't know about it yet. when people see me pull a book out of my bag and sit there and read they look at me crazy, I just look at them and say you don't know what your missing. I do know people who like to read but they're not my age and the ones that are don't like the kind of books I do.
I'm in Australia and I think I'm friends with the only 10 people in my town who actually read well :)
I'm from Delhi, India and I dunno why but people my age aren't reading as much as they should. Only handful of my friends are interested in books. It's really depressing. I can't have a decent conversation with someone about the books I read.
I'm from Oklahoma, USA. Not a lot of people here that I know read. It's hard to find people here to talk books with so that's why I joined GoodReads.
