Ace sat her down on her bed, letting her relax. "You can tell me everything, or you can tell me nothing. My lips are either sealed or I can talk to whoever you want. Whatever you need I'm here for you." She said softly and sincerely.
Sky took a deep breath, but then the tears started to flow. This girl she barely knew being nice to her for no reason was the last straw on the dam she had been holding back for a while. She never let anyone see her cry. Normally boys are better at holding it in, but for her and Benny, the opposite was true. They were both fiercely protective of each either. "Th-thank you," Sky stammered. "I shouldn't be crying over this. It's not like we were that close, it's just...I don't want Xandra or him to get hurt. I'd almost rather he chooses her, I'd be happy for her. But then I'd have to hide my emotions even more than usual..." She choked out a sob. "But not that I hide them a lot or anything..."
Ace had her arm around Sky's shoulders, gently hugging her. Her other hand was moved to Sky's hands that were tensed up, gently rubbing them to calm her down. "It's okay to cry, it relieves stress and you shouldn't apologize for your natural emotions." She said softly. "You need to take into consideration everyone's feelings. That includes yours and everyone else's involved, including your brother." She continued. "Even if he does choose Xandra that doesn't mean you have to hide your emotions, just not make a move on him. Plus, I know it's hard to love someone so much and feel like he is the world, but I promise he isn't. Whether he picks you or not you are your own person and I know here are other things other than that one dude in seven billion to make you happy." She said, trying to reassure her. She kept her voice more comforting and gentle than usual, trying to make herself seem less like an a**hole and more like a friend.
"Thanks," Sky said again. "I know that you're right. But right now, it feels like the world is ending or something. And i always think about the other peoples emotions. But Benny. Oh Gods! Benny! He and Amorette looked like they were about to pounce in each other! She could be hurting him!"
Ace nodded. "I mean to also consider yourself. It's not selfish to take care of yourself as well as other people. And I warned her to not kill or maim him and if she did or is going to I'll take care of it." She said sincerely. "Just worry about yourself right now and I will take care of everything else." She assured Sky, meaning every word she said. She was used to carrying her own weight and others without showing any sign of strain. "I've got it covered, okay?"
"Okay," said Sky. She wasn't used to thinking of herself. She had always put others before her since she could remember. She was the older of the two, if only by five minutes. "In the end, it's his decision though. The other person will just have to move on, I guess. I mostly don't want to ruin any of my friendships I've had because of this. You're a good friend, you know that?"
Victor ran in then blushed. He had seen Ace come here and he wasnt really sure if Amorette and Benny we're dead or not soo... "Sorry to interupt but um... Benny and A are both passed out at the Dining Pavilion and they created a huge mess well." He said sheepishly.
Ace smiled softly. "Once he makes his decision I'll still be here for you, whether he chooses you or Xandra. If he chooses you I'll make sure Xandra is okay as well."
Ace groaned and got up, gently grabbing Sky and sitting her back down. "Sky, I'll handle this you get some rest." She said, turning back to Victor. "Get her anything she needs and make sure no one else blows up, I'll go take care ."
"I think thats too late..." he said seeing her dash out the door.
((Lol ok I'll just assume Ace pulled her back in...))"I've gotta go help Benny! He's my brother," she pleaded to Ace.
"I know he's your brother but I promise you I would take care of it and that's what I'm going to do. I'll bring him back either conscious or unconscious, butt alive and fine." She said sincerely. "You need to rest. You won't be able to help your. Other unless you rest."
Ace anticipated that her cooperation was only to hide later sneaking, but she ignored it and only reminded her. "I will tell you how Benny is doing later, and you will get to see him as soon as possible, but you shouldn't exhaust yourself for nothing." She started towards the door.
"Okay, whatever," Sky muttered after her. She laid down on her bed and stared at the bunk above her (she had the bottom bunk of the bunk bed, having let Benny have the top one).
"Hey Victor, I'm sorry that Benny got out of control, he just cares about me," Sky muttered awkwardly.
"It's not your fault." He said looking at Amorette being carried away to the big house. "It's probably Amorettes fault as well. She's very protective of me, and she stronger than she looks." He chuckled dryly looking out the window. 'Gods if anything happens to her...' he thought.
"What were they thinking?" Sky ranted. "I hope they're okay. Let's go check on them." She looked into Victor's eyes, hoping he would agree.
"I-I don't know...Ace said to-" he was cut off by Sky's eyes that were begging him.
She walked over to the door. "I'm going whether you come with me or not," Sky added. "I would prefer you come, but it's your choice."
"Oh fine." He said following her footsteps
