Glen Weissenberger (glenweissenberger) | 33 comments Review links for Mary T. Kincaid's Little Worlds of Magic.

A quick note: Mary, the Amazon.com and the Amazon.co.uk Kindle versions of your book are NOT LISTED with you as the author (Mary T. Kincaid), but only Doriano Strologo as the illustrator. And there are two versions of the book here on Goodreads, consequently, with the same attributions.

I encourage you to contact KDP and or Red Hawk to make sure that the metadata on the book is adjusted in KDP in order for it to present on Little Worlds' Amazon sales page correctly under your name as an author in both formats.

Also, you want to make sure that the paperback and the Kindle versions have a combined Amazon sales page with combined reviews - not some reviews on the paperback sales page, and some on the Kindle sales page, as they currently are.

And the Goodreads Librarians can help you out on coordinating reviews here.

Apologies for the inconvenience. I had had it sent twice, but there must be a glitch in my email system.

Sorry Theo.

Gloria Piper | 197 comments Hi, all,
I just finished Flashes of Emotion, by Augustine Sam. Reviews are posted in Goodreads and both Amazons.

That finishes all my rounds. I'm presently waiting to hear from Jonathan Lewis for the round 2 review of my book.

Glen Weissenberger (glenweissenberger) | 33 comments G.J., once one has completed the reading/reviewing/posting reviews in a given thread, as I have here–but is still waiting for some reviews of MY book here–may I submit to another thread?

Or must I wait until all reviews FOR my book are in from this particular thread?

Thank you,

Glen

OK - Glen first of all: If Emma is requesting book submissions and you'd like to join another Review Group then that's absolutely fine. If she wishes to confirm that you have completed all review deadlines then Emma will contact me. I suggest you keep an eye on this stream for a while until James has done your review but that is no barrier to you reviewing elsewhere meanwhile. Plus, there are other GR review groups if you cannot join "here" just yet. Such as:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

I hope that helps :-)

Theodore, First you may wish to note the above message to Glen.

Secondly, thanks for the info' and I'll check whether Mary and Diana have posted your reviews on Amazons UK and USA as well. If not I'll remind them.

Best wishes, both,
Graham

message 162: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Once you have completed your four reviews, you can join another round. You don't have to wait for all the reviews for your book to be posted.
This means that quick reviewers are not penalised for being in a round with people who like, or need, to take their time.

James (jimmyfvic) | 17 comments Morning all, well I've spent my $50USD with amazon.com which is now allowing me to post my much anticipated reviews on .com, but it is not allowing me to post on .co.uk. This is obviously a recent change so this has become an FYI for everyone as well. New customers to Amazon will need to spend 50 local currency in each of the amazon digital storefronts to be able to post to them as they are separate. This is what Amazon did say originally but now it is proven.

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/When-moon-take......"

Thank you, James, but this is not the link to your review on Amazon but to Stjepan's book review page. If you use a pseudonym for reviews it is often difficult to find the correct one. Amazon usually email a "thank you" to reviewers which of course has the correct link to the edit version of the review. You should be able to post your review on Amazon.co.uk without having to spend money there. I have had no-one reporting this as a problem, or had the problem myself. I have posted 3 reviews in recent weeks on both Amazons - no problem. I await to see if it spreads but I believe once you spend some money on one Amazon site then you can post reviews on many sites. I assume you use the same password each time?

Another point about your review - it is not a good idea to use the author's first name in it. If it appears that you know the author personally, or may be related to them, then Amazon could delete the review. It has happened.

James (jimmyfvic) | 17 comments Hi G.J. thanks for all the comments I'll fix everything now. As far as .co.uk I definitely cannont review on there. As I mentioned I believe it has recently changed so existing Amazon customers are not affected only new ones such as myself. I also did receive an email from Amazon telling me that you need to spend money in each of the different storefronts as they are separate entities.

message 180: by Alison (new)

Alison Cubitt (httpgoodreadscomlambertnagle) | 83 comments I wanted to say a big thank you to you all. The standard of reviewing in this particular group has been great. Finding reviewers for your work is hard (particularly in my case, for this particular book, as bloggers aren't really interested in non-fiction). I don't know of a better place to find non-reciprocal reviews.

message 181: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lewis | 64 comments Why isn't anybody interested in nonfiction? is it because the market is flooded with third-rate books just trying to make a buck?

message 182: by Alison (new)

Alison Cubitt (httpgoodreadscomlambertnagle) | 83 comments This particular book is a how-to. I had more luck with bloggers for my last book, which was memoir.
In my experience, bloggers prefer fiction.

Thank you for your positive comments, Alison :-) . These groups usually attract pleasant and understanding reviewers/authors, though it does help to submit a book of recognisable quality!
My job as moderator is made so much easier when the participants have some idea of the "rules" and, more especially, the commitment made to their fellow authors. So far, so good! (Hope I haven't spoken too soon :-/).
