It's the end of the first week of November, which means it's time for our first discussion! This week we read the first four chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. If you've read the book before or you've read ahead, please don't mention any spoilers for the next chapters or the next books in the series!
We've come up with some questions to help the discussion along: 1. Have you read the book before? 2. Are you hooked on the story yet? When did it happen, and if it didn't, how come? 3. What did you think of the characters? (The Dursleys, Hagrid and of course our hero Harry.) 4. What was your favourite moment in these chapters?
