I actually finished this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. I did NOT expect the killer at all and really like John.
Is that weird to like the sociopath? Cause I think he's interesting and kinda funny.

I'll have to pick up that series one day and finish it, when I'm not trying to read like 50 thousand things.

Funny follow up to you giving me this revelation: I tweeted to Dan Wells the author (as I know from his podcast Writing Excuses he likes to hear from fans) and razzed him about not mentioning the movie on the podcast. His response was pretty funny :)
