Alex wrote: "You're clearly having a good day Christina, yay for you."Nah, that was yesterday with the cookies and ice cream. Today I'm justthe cheering squad for other's good days. ;)
My daughters surgery for tubes in her ears was successful and she is doing good. Hopefully this will solve the ear infection problems
Melissa wrote: "Ooh, my new book got some sales! Little teeny tiny itty bitty sales, but still sales!"Congrats! Even one sale is great! :)
Well, I have to join in. I took my wife to the surgeon today thinking that she may be going back into the hospital for another painful and expensive surgery, but it turned out that it could all be handled in the office, and took less than ten minutes. She is much better, and home watching TV.

I am happy to have procured several upcoming library signings. Yesterday, my book was accepted by The Fussy Librarian, so promos begin on Dec. 22nd.
TAMIR wrote: "I did a self-search on Barnes and Noble and found my book! It felt great!"I bet it did. :D
My happy thing: Today marks 3 weeks without a no-sale day! Some days I only sell 1, but that's still better than none. ;) Anyway, it's my longest streak yet, so I hope I don't jinx it by mentioning it!
Off to Wisconsin for a couple of days!
Be good. No staying up late. Don't give the babysitter a hard time. And the cake in the refrigerator is for grandpa's birthday. Hands off!

This is a great thread. Let's see......I had a big hunk of cake for breakfast and I have all day to work it off.
Happy Saturday everybody. My good thing is that my eye infection is nearly gone. Plus. Sausages for supper
I had a couple of good things happen last week. Sold a paperback; that doesn't happen very often. And I received a part I ordered for my old pickup truck (the window crank regulator) from GM, and it took me only thirty minutes to install it. Spent about $60 including shipping. Probably saved $200 and a lot of time and trouble by not taking it to a repair shop.
Alex,Thank you!
Sales do not come easy. So, I'm hoping by making inroads in my local area, it will help spread the word about my book.
Any indie author who has snagged B&N, that is a fait accompli. Congrats, Tamir!
Yes--one sale is a triumph!
And, kudos to any writer who can pull off a NaNo endeavor!
My weekly blogs entail a memoir/marketing approach to what I'm up to as an Indie author, so when forthcoming, I will write about my Fussy Librarian experience as I did this week about my blog tour experience thus far.
May everyone keep the faith and soldier on!
Jane - Glad your eye infection is healing! Enjoy your sausages!! HugsKen - Congratulations on the paperback sale and on fixing your own truck and saving time, money, and stress!! Hugs

I specifically asked you to stay out of the cake. Now what will grandpa have for his birthday? *glares*

So I guess I have to be happy too. Three sales yesterday on Create Space, 10 books delivered at a book store and some sales today at a local book-signing. The crowds were out for X-mas shopping.
Leo,That's wonderful!
May the upcoming holidays give all of us a spiritual boost--literally and metaphorically.
I discovered three reviews today. Two from the lovely hatted people, and one from the unhatted folk.
Wonderful!
*Edited because another hatted review turned up!*

I put up a poster on Twitter advertising my new book. Somebody retweeted it ten seconds later and one minute after that, I had a sale! *Jumps up and down while making squeeee noise.* 8-)

I finally picked a name for my new Romance series! None of the books are out yet. I finished the 50,000 word goal for NaNoWriMo today but the novel isn't complete yet, so I still have some work to do, but it is my first time doing NaNoWriMo so I was excited!Congrats on everyone's accomplishments!!!
Congrats Ember! That means you wrote 50,000 words in 15 days right? Wow, how did you manage to do that lol?
Ember, congratulations on a major achievement!Shannon, nothing beats an instant sale!
My good news to share is getting another 5-Star review for my book. Also, it was accepted by eBookSoda. Promo starts on Nov. 21st.
My fervent wish is to have steadier, rather than sporadic sales--although I'm overjoyed when I get those too.
Alexis wrote: "I finally settled on a name for my female supporting character lol. "Camilla" it is. :)"

Yesterday I got bored and made buns! But I got bored while making the buns and decided to be fun, so I added food colouring to it. Now today, people are giving me odd looks while I eat these lilac coloured buns.
That's great to me!

They just don't know you and love you like we do. If they did, they'd realize that this is normal, and wonderful, CB behavior.

I don't like Christmas (actually hate it) but the sales prior to it are great. Got an order for 36 books to one store. Had only 30 left. Have to call the printer today.
