Henrietta walked out into her common room, carrying a purple laptop under her arm. She paused when she recognized a familiar face and walked over in front of him. "We meet again, it seems," She tittered a bit. "I am pleased to meet you again," She curtsied daintily even with the laptop in her arm. "What are you doing?"
Elisoe widened his eyes and sat up. he cleared his throat and answered," I'm not sure...I think i was gazing through space and time. Or imagining stuff. it's impossible to tell."

"So, you can predict the future?" Henrietta asked in slight disgust. "I never believed in anything like that. Knowing the future will not help you to win, after all. Only wit and luck," She took a seat beside him and opened up her laptop.
"I can't predict the future, no. I dont know if what I saw was even real. it could be from the past or the present. it could be from another dimension. I literally can't tell." He watched the screen of the device turn on and studied the background image.

“I was curious. Mother told me there was a person in her old class who could predict the future. But he was only right thirty percent of the time or something,” She explained. Her laptop background was a picture of her proudly holding a trophy for a robotics tournament while her parents stood happily on either side.
"For all my odd magic abilities, I'm not sure I believe in clairvoyance. Maybe I just don't like the idea of some incorporeal force dictating my entire life."

“Agreed. Clairvoyance is such a ludicrous ‘science’ anyway,” She tittered again and finished loading up her computer. After it finished loading, she pulled up a computer file and daintily begun typing on it.
Elisdeo smirked. "it's not a science, no...but I don't know if it's real magic or not." He glanced at her screen once in a while, not sure what she was even doing on it.

“About as close to real magic as one could become in my old world,” She sighed and noticed him staring. “Are you curious? I’m programming,”
"What are you doing exactly?" He sat up some. "I mena, I know what programming *is* or have an idea but like, what specifically?"

"As in, what am I doing right this moment?" She asked curiously. "Freelance work. People pay me quite a bit to make websites for them. Old classmates of my parents and their friends are among my best customers," Henrietta smiled a bit. "I only work for those who can pay, of course,"
Elisode nodded. "Can't imagine why they'd need numerous websites but hey, I 'work' in a freaking casino. No judgement there."

"They only need one website, but I often have to make upgrades or repairs," She explained, twirling one of her curls around on her finger. She wore a gothic version of her father's old uniform that had a bunch of lace all around it. "I am the only one of them who is good at this. Which is not surprising at all. My father was the greatest programmer of his generation,"
Eliseo nodded. "I can work the computers at the casino but i have no idea how *they* work. I know it's not magic but it might as well be, if that makes sense."

"A lot of wires and things like that," She responded in disinterest, already in her programming zone.
"I meant like the coding and programs and stuff..." He had little idea of what he wanted to really know.

Henrietta just ignored him since she was fully in her zone. She was typing so fast her fingers were a blur.

After a few more minutes, Henrietta stretched a bit and twirled one of her curls around on her finger, glancing up at Eliseo. "Where are you going? I thought somebody like you would be interested in watching moi work,"
Elisoe watched her play with her hair and blushed a bit. "Well yes but..I have no idea what you're doing so I'm rather confused."

"I am making a website, as I said," She turned the laptop around and showed him the screen. "You may take a look at it, if you would like,"
Eliseo returned to the couch, sitting close to Henrietta but not too close. His eyes darted across the screen, studying its content.

The screen was a professionally-done webpage in a dull green colour featuring all kinds of mechanic services available. The page she was currently on showed the owner of the service, a grimey-looking guy in a very bright neon jumpsuit.
"Friend of my father's from school," She explained in a sickly-sweet tone. "He needed promotion for his services, so I made a website for him. Although, I would never actually talk to him in real life,"

"What's wrong with the guy?" he asked casually. As he saw the person in their jumpsuit he narrowed his eyes. Who would wear something like that?

"A lot of things." She said simply. "But he paid quite a lot of money for me to make a website for him, so..."

((Crap I never saw this))
"Well, I suppose you shouldn't turn down clients if you need the money," he nodded. "Course we don't have to worry about such things. So long as they follow the rules."

"Exactly. No matter my personal grievances with a client, as long as they pay, and pay me well, I will allow them to give me a service," Henrietta smiled sweetly at that.
"That's quite professional of you." Eliseo sounded patronizing but was just trying to be nice to the girl.

She typed for a few more minutes before daintily closing her laptop and setting it on the couch beside her. She smoothed out her skirt. "I do believe I could use a break,"
Eliseo watched her skirt ruffle beneath her smooth hands. Quickly he glanced away, trying to seem disinterested. "Do you want to go do something then?"

“Yes. Does the common room offer beverages such as tea? Or must I have someone fetch it for me? After programming I tend to feel quite parched,” She explained.
Elisoe blew a bit of air out while trying to think. "Um..there might be tea. Maybe. Or the stuff for brewing it. I don't drink it so I couldn't tell you."

She gasped daintily. “Never had tea before? It is one of the best things to drink! I prefer mine with milk and sugar in it,” She folded her hands up in her lap. “Mother prefers hers boiled with milk, but...do forgive me for being shrewd, but that was a spot we always disagreed on. I never liked it that way,”
Elisoe gave a small smile as she moved her hands once again. he had no idea why but it was so cute when she did so. "Casinos..aren;t the place you go for tea," was all he said about the question. "But I'd like to try some with you!"

“Perfect! You will try it the way I like it first. Then you can try other ones,” She smiled, but made no other movements.
Eliseo blinked a few times. "So uh...does the cafe have this tea or something?" He wasn't sure why she made no moves.

“I think so. They make anything you could possibly want, which is good for me. Because otherwise I would be miserable here!” She dramatically swooned with a hand on her forehead.
Eliseo extended his hand to hers, thr one not on her forehead.
"Then..let's go together. It'll be fun!"
