Keiko walked into her common room, surprised she hadn't been in there before. There were plenty of books for her to read, though she had already read most. Her glasses turned a light green as she happily looked through the bookshelf for something new.

Amethyst walked in the common room behind her, avoiding any direct sunlight touching her skin, accidentally bumping into Keiko. "Sorry." Her hair turned a soft shade of pink, giving her a quick smile and heading toward an open spot on the floor, pulling a pen from her pocket, her hair slowly transitioning back to a dull white.

Keiko suddenly squeaked in surprise when someone bumped into her, making her glasses flash yellow. She instinctively pressed her hands to her chest since no book was being held yet. "N-no, I-I was the one i-in your way," She said quietly. Amethyst's hair changing colors didn't escape her notice though, and she wondered if she had a spell placed on it.

Amethyst started drawing on her hand, tapping her bottom lip with the pen every once in a while to think. She ran her pen-hand through her hair, the curls turning violet.

Keiko kept staring at her in fascination, not even noticing how that would look to a random passerby. She thought she was the only one with such a charm on her.

Amethyst looked up, feeling her gaze. She smiled and waved, patting the spot next to her. Her roots started turning green, and she gave a little grin.

She blushed heavily, her glasses remaining yellow. She took a seat quickly, forgetting she still didn't have a book yet. She really hoped this girl wasn't going to ask her to talk.

"I-I'm Keiko Kurono," She introduced herself shyly. She briefly thought of announcing her species as being a regular human, but then she remembered what Silver told her at the dance. Just take time to appreciate the universe, and life is great." She grinned. "I turn into a puddle of rainbow if direct sunlight touches any of my skin."
