The clan of the cave bear by Jean M. Auel - a fantastically well researched historical novel about a young girl who is orphaned during the time of the last Ice Age and is adopted by a group of Neanderthal.
A Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel Defoe - a fascinating insight into the great plague that swept through London in 1665.

Our November theme is all about what we're thankful for, so I thought why not read a book about three sisters who are fighting over one crown. This book is super hyped and is a hot read for fall. Going forward, we're going to read newer hyped-up releases. This way everyone has a chance to read the book along with the group.
