Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I am going to go with Mina Carter I found a freebie on my kindle from who knows when and then I brought the next book. Some of the stories are way to short but it is still fun!

message 5: by Dahrose (new)

Dahrose | 8 comments Jane Cousins and her Southern Sanctuary series could be considered a new find for me. The romances are sweet & sexy, plus there are plenty of laughs.

message 6: by Amyiw (new)

Amyiw | 7 comments I vote for Jennifer Rardin who wrote the Jaz Parks series starting with Once Bitten, Twice Shy. Just started reading them and thought it had humor, a great plot, and characters. My runner up would be Rachel Aaron... up to 47 new authors and only 8 I would put on favorites.

message 7: by Robert (new)

Robert (rlmandell) | 2 comments James Hunter's #1 Yancy Lazarus novel.

message 8: by Anne (new)

Anne | 318 comments Jennifer Estep's An Elemental Assassin Series - started reading it recently and am on Book 8.

Jennifer Rardin was great. After she passed away I could never bring myself to finish the series.

Amyiw | 7 comments Once you finish, its finished. :-( No more Jaz, except on reread. I think it might be on a reread for me.

message 11: by L.E. (new)

L.E. Doggett (ldwriter2) | 24 comments I think that would be Brandon Sanderson. Writer of Fantasy and SF and inventer of the Mistborn

Not so new to writing but I just found him this year.

There is a close second but since this is for a nomination I won't say who.

I really enjoyed Jaz Park and did finish the series, except a couple of shorts amazon won't sell me cause I'm not in the US. Very sad about Jennifer Rardin, felt for her family :(

No idea, and they've done the same with Kindle Worlds books. You can only get them in the States.
