I really did not enjoy this book, but it kept my interest. Nic was naive, yes, but he was selfish too. And I really cared for him and his family, his few good friends.
It's stupid what that reviewer said. Celebrities are the most depressed people with some of the biggest addiction problems. Sometimes it's the money that makes people more vulnerable to drugs and such vices. I just find it sad and gut wrenching. I don't want to imagine the many lives that get caught up in that shit.
I really feel for Nic, and I know he will always struggle with this, and I wish he will stay strong. I think he's married now. I hope he stays sober. I really wonder what happened to Spencer. I liked him and his family a lot.
I also think Nic's parents were good people, despite their mistakes and flaws. I wanted them to be okay.
Nic Sheff is a good writer. I hope he continued his career. Maybe he has. I really hope so.

I'm not even judging them. There are a lot of people who fit the type of people Nic met and interacted with.
