Sorry, Emma, I didn't buy it!

I loved this book even more than "Room" which everyone raved about. I admit it was depressing at times, but I still really loved it.

I have to agree, Claudette! It was much too repetitive and the foreshadowing was glaringly obvious.

I did too, couldn't get into it but I had to finish it! Ended up liking it but wouldn't ever read it again.

I didn't like it as much as frog music but I did like it was a completely different read which I like to see in author. there ability not to stick to the same writing style with every book.

I might try that one soon. Did you like Frog Music?

me too...and ihated having to read pages of praise before i was allowed to read. attempting me to find it incredible. worst read in a long time. Also, the ending was so unrealistic. they could have made it realistic for that ending but did not bother. two prominent figures don't just disapear and can't be found with said girl.

I don't think reading the 'pages of praise' is mandatory...

The Wonder was just too much of nothing for me.
Drawn out and then when something "big" was revealed...it kind of came in as an afterthought and wasn't brought the attention I felt it needed.
