Book that teaches grammar

I would like to get a book that teaches the basics of grammar, especially things like sentence diagramming and comma placement. I would prefer it is not something too dry and possibly includes etymology or fun mnemonic devices.

Grammar Girl has some great funny guides to grammar, and it can be for middle school and up.
